Anyone have experience in doing this? I am needing one this fall, But I am not sure if I want to pull it across the country to wyoming or try to rent one on the way out there.

i think you answered your own ? :) ,most have small tires which make a lot of heat at highway speeds.plus you will save gas $ by not having to drag it so far.$900 for 14 days seems way high to me also.your just wanting to rent it not buy,a base model has to be around 4 bills depending on the size/options

Check Family Campers in Lebanon right there off of 40 and 231. Looks like they're $100 / day.

Thanks for the link, I checked and its $900 for 14 days. But I think it might be more economical to rent on 3/4 of the way there. Just so I dont have to pull it 2500 miles.
Yeah I got to thinking about how many days you'd need it. For $900 you can buy one.

If you have the abilityto get one once there that may be the way to go. That's a long haul to pull one.
