Okay so buddy has a new toy. went to adjust the trigger and it is all allen head screws that we can not break free. Anyone else run into this? What trigger is this?

Not sure what trigger it is but they are often gummed up with loctite type goo from the factory. Try heating them up to melt the goo.

Every time I adjust a Remington trigger for the first time, I have to put some PB Blaster on it with a Q-tip. The videos I've seen just remove the glue with a razor, but that has never worked for me.

Well Big D all my other Remmys have set screws. This one has lil allen head screws and we can't get them loose. I trying to talk him into just getting an aftermarket trigger for it since this one wants to be a pain in my arse!!!!!

What about aftermarket triggers? How do I find out if it is an X Mark? Also how do you read serial number to find out the year? Been seeing a few aftermarkets but they all say pre 2006.

Well who makes the safety and bolt release that is needed for the aftermarket triggers I've seen? Who makes one with safety and bolt release?
