I can't even walk that far without resting brother. Yeah that's what I need .You need this @Snake , then we can meet at Dead Zero and stretch it out to 1000!![]()
Chance are a divorce would come with my next gun purchase, but I am curious about Remington rifles these days. Is this a current model? Who is making them now & how does the quality compare to those mfr'd by the original Remington? FYI, I own several older Remington guns & recall their 700 action considered the best stock action available at one time. I own several older Rem700 in 6mm, .280 (prior to rebranding as 7mm Express), 25.06 & 30.06 and Rem870 Wingmaster shotguns in .410, 28ga, 16ga, 20ga & several versions in 12ga. Not trying to derail the OP, just trying to understand the vintage of the gun offered versus those mfr'd by the original Remington.Remington 700 long range 6.5 Creedmore heavy barrel has Bell and Carlson m40 medalist stock on it from factory, Timney trigger, Vortex Diamondback tactical 6-24x50 EGW 20 MOA picitanny rail, Burris ZEE rings, I'm open to trades and offers,
1250.00 with Vortex scope and Timney trigger
1000.00 without scope, with Timney trigger
900.00 without Scope, with Factory trigger

If you want to get rid of some of them old Remington's to keep you out of the dog house, you better sure and holler at me.Chance are a divorce would come with my next gun purchase, but I am curious about Remington rifles these days. Yeah, it's a shame. Obviously Remington guns were among my favorite. I do own several SKB (Japan) shotguns that I like. The only Remington shotgun I own that I might be willing to part with is a Remington Versamax in 12ga, synthetic camo stock. Nice gun, used one season duck hunting. but I just didn't think it was a good fit for me. After a try with a Beretta autoloader, I've settled on a Winchester SX3 which I have been shooting for the last 10 yrs or so. Very reliable, good fit & easy to clean (my issue with the Beretta which didn't like to shoot dirty). If you want to get rid of some of them old Remington's to keep you out of the dog house, you better sure and holler at me.
Also, Freedom Arms purchased Remington in 2007 and QC was iffy at best since then. Now there is no Remington, but RemArms.
Shoot, I own 4 of them I haven't ever fired yet, but would take this one too if we lived near each other.Dang, if I didn't already have two manbunannihilators I'd be making plans for this deal!!
