Any idea how old the rifle is? Factory matte finish?

The stock is several years old the gun is a year or two old. Yes it has a dull finish.

Barrel code will tell the age. 2 letters on the left side of the barrel in front of the receiver (same side as the serial number), tell us what they are and I can tell you the age.

The gun has WC so it was made in 2008. I am not sure if the matte was done from the factory but it has a nice smooth finish.
