Remington 1100 barrel

Looking to get barrel cut and interchangeable choke system installed. Barrel is 28" modified. Id like to get it cut around 25 or 24 inches. Any info on someone who is reasonable and does good work would be appreciated.

Probably going to find a new one to be just as expensive. My old shotgun buddy said forcing cone engineering was a secret to shotgun success. Don't know exactly how that much of a cut would affect things.

There are plenty of Shotgun people around, they will know.

Rose Action Sports did one for me 4 or 5 years ago. If you want Rem Chokes the barrel has to measure a certain thickness at the cut. I had to put a different thinner choke system in, but wasn't a deal breaker for me. I don't remember the cost, but not terrible.

I'd second the vote for Steve Rose. I'd let him work on any of my guns. He has a great reputation for his barrel and choke thread cutting.
