That to me is what the big deal is about the wins this year. This is his second season as the coach. The program has floundered around under 4 different coaches for how many years and now it looks as if the planets have aligned for Heupel. Kind of amazing to me.

I tell you what I can't get used to. EVERY SINGLE CFB show is talking about Tennessee. Gameday, SEC Nation, last week's playoff show, all of them. It is unreal to be able to tune into any show and hear about the Vols!

It's a breath of fresh air after what we the fans have endured the last 15+ years. Now you've got excitement around all 3 major sports and other sports are doing well too.

I agree with her. I used to get season tickets back at that time and you could feel a different energy or whatever you want want to call it back then , especially after that 98 Fl win. Still got my 97-98 cap in the closet and a goose down UT coat that I got before the 97 season.

They already have as many wins as I was hoping for the entire season. If they lose out I'll be happy, beating bandwagon nation was icing on the cake

It wasn't that long. It was last season. Heupel has really done a great job getting this team to this point. I knew he was onto something last year, but I never saw this coming. I love what UT is doing and would love to see them whip everyone's butts. It's nice to have hope for the program again. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going for years to come.
