Smokeless
Tried shooting sabotless this afternoon... NOT GOOD
Enjoyed the day at the range but I can't say I enjoyed getting a 250gr SST stuck in my barrel...
I knew it felt tight but all I could do was push it with the starter and it came to a halt.
Barnes 250 TEZ is way loose and the 250 SST isn't going down...
Anybody tried the Parker?
How is the size compared to the two above?

That's my fault man, I have not shot since it got warm and forgot to tell you I run the SST through a LEE .449 die and then knurl it up. The Barnes will drop right down without knurling.

Did you get it out?

Learning lesson #1 with the 250gr SST... lol

most Mcgowens will shoot the MH unsized and they fit pretty well, I say most, some might be a little on the loose side.

unless Tom has changed his prices on his dies the smooth die is either 158.00 or 163.00 shipped, I don't remember which, he has built me several. you can also check with Jeff Hankins @ Hankins custom guns, he has a bunch already made up ready to ship but I have never used his so I don't know what to tell you about them..
