The days are few and far between when you can get a 6.5 year old to slip up and move in daylight, but this one just had to go against the grain. He's survived enough seasons that I figured he was worth sharing. Enjoy.
Me to! I would rather have him than a 150" 10pthunter drew said:Wow I love the old 4 and 6 points
does he also follow the DST? Great buckMike Belt said:Great buck. Is that the only pic you have? He's there during shooting light...at least until the time changes.
I have a few others during this "sequence", but that is it so far this year. I have a friend who has pics of him the last two years, all within a 100 acre block of woods. He saw him one time last year in daylight, and the buck either got by him or he let him walk, I cannot remember for sure.Mike Belt said:Is that the only pic you have?
My friend has several years of history with him, as well as several pics over the years. This is the first year I have ran a camera in this general area.Master Chief said:Any history?
Not so much, would rather see my buddy get him. On the other hand, I will be hunting some in this area and if I see him and am certain of it, I will do my best to kill him. I would love to see his teeth since we have a good amount of history and several years of photos of him. I figure I have the same odds of winning the Powerball as seeing him in daylight again.Poser said:Are you targeting that deer, Andy?
I think so too. I killed one years ago that dressed 187 pounds and this deer appears to be a fair amount bigger when comparing trail cam photos side by side.double browtine said:I bet he would field dress over 200 lbs.
