My Leupold rangefinder is pretty much dead. I have had for a looooong time. I think it is the button you depress to activate. In any event, anyone have any recommendations? I'll be thanking you.

I wanted a sig 1400. Ended up with a vortex ranger 1800. Pretty happy with it. One factor one should consider with the rangefinder, which you're experiencing is the fact your current unit is dead, is a good warranty is great. With the vortex it's a lifetime. Sig I think is 5 years for electronics. I don't know what leupold has for electronics. But hard to beat vortex on electronics.

Another vote for Leica. Ive owned mine for several years now and Ive yet to see anything that can outrange it. The sig units are as good though from what Ive compared side by side.
