Step one,buy some jig heads

Paint em to your liking

Add some sparkly stuff

Go fishing,have fun!

Put a black or yellow 3 inch twister on that head and you should be able to catch some big smallies on the Buffalo over the next few weeks. Great looking jig!

i seem to do better with unpainted heads.

I change colors a lot, try'n to find ones that work. Most often I'll find some that out perform others on a given day. Unpainted ones catch as many or even more on occasion. I've used the red hooks many times for bass, but can't say that I've noticed any increase in the catch, one way or the other. Ain't used them for crappies yet.

can't say that i can tell any difference but i use them cause it don't hurt
