I felt lucky getting my Eagles in the ground about three weeks ago - got a good deal of rain the week following, but not a drop since. Hopefully we get some more rain soon!

Yet another reason I gave up on Summer plots. I spend my summers mowing now. But I want the rain to keep some of that dust down. Last time I mowed the fields I came in looking like I rolled around in a dust bunny.

we planted corn on the 19th. Got 1 1/2 inches a couple of days later but hasn't rained a drop since. How long can corn go/ grow without rain. I would assume I'm good for a little while longer but just curious.

Got a few inches right after I planted my soybeans but then nothing. Finally alittle shower Saturday evening, but the dirt was dry in like 15 minutes.

Got a "frog strangler" here in Florence for about 10 minutes Sunday....Does look like we are going to get a pattern shift in a week or so though.

Lookin like we'll have a few days of rain next week, and maybe a drop or two tomorrow if I get lucky - the beans are needing it for sure! The grasses are tryin to take over

we got some here last night. im sure its already soaked up by now though.

On Thursday it rained 3.5 inches about a mile from the farm, and we got a half inch. Dang. Oh well, better than nothing I guess

we're getting hammerd here in luttrell 37779 with storms.so hopefully the ground will soak it up and it rains for a littel bit.to help the plots out and the garden

I was getting scared our farm was going to miss out, but we had a great band come through at 8:00. At least an inch :) Man we needed it. Unfortunately, mid to high 90s in the forecast.
