I have bought 3 packs of Rage broadheads over the last 3 years... The first pack I bought had some sort of roll pin in the body that held the blades in..... The second pack had more of a solid pin with some kind of knurled edges around the inside of the hole.... The pack I picked up yesterday, has a small hex or allen screw holding the blades in..The new pack also has a little tab on the lip of the blade where the o-ring holds it in place....

The latest pack I bought seems to be geared more toward ease of blade replacement.. I also like the extra tab to help prevent pre-mature deployment...

Any thoughts?

Gave up on them two years ago. Way over priced for me. Hope they do good for you.

I am a nut for trying different things... I have 4-pks of different broadheads on my fletching bench... Slick Trick Magnum, Hellrazor, Muzzy, and Rage.....

At this moment my hunting quiver will have 3-Rage and 1-Hellrazor.... All of the broadheads shoot very good out of my bow... They all have the same point of impact, so who knows? before hunting season, I may have a whole different set-up in my quiver.... :)

I have worked really hard this year to get my bow to shoot everything and anything well....

I am pretty pleased.........(for now)......

The reason I quit using them, just to much trouble in the field. I took some deer with them, big entry holes, but you have to keep a eye on them all the time, in your quiver or on your rest. Many times, I would go to change blades, and the allen screw would strip. Way to expensive to shoot a few times, then have this happen. Hope you have a good season!
