Quota Hunts - Where except PI is worth spending priority

Well yuchi takes 3 points and everything else worth a hoot takes less so since you've already got 5 points you might as well stick it out 4 more years. Maybe buy a leftover tag at one of the wma's. The pickings are slim these days.

What sucks is putting in for the hunt every year and never being drawn while several are drawn every year. Luck of the draw? At least you know you'll be drawn and just about when with the accumulative point system.

I almost wish the PI hunt was random like the Elk Hunt.

It started out as a random draw back around 2001 or 2002.

I know two guys that were drawn and hunted the Island 3 times.

I wish they'd adopt a system similar to other states where you're not required to submit your full amount of points and can actually wager the number that you think you need to draw the permit.
