All I know is that Yuchi first hunt takes quite a bit. I've drawn the first Chuck Swan with 2 points.

Is Yuchi worth putting in for? A few guys at work said low bird numbers.

My strategy is to only draw a TWRA quota hunt when I don't have enough points to draw another southern state. Even then I'll only draw a hunt that's before the regular season to get the early start. Simple reason is that the other states to our south offer a lot higher quality quota hunts. Less hunters per square mile, more birds, more WMA quota hunts= easy choice. I like Oak Ridge, I like Chuck Swan, I like Yuchi, but the TWRA puts way to many turkey hunters on all of them.

Is Yuchi worth putting in for? A few guys at work said low bird numbers.

I was not overly impressed last year, but the weather did suck. Not being able to hunt all day kinda blows too.
