I once heard that rabbits do not move during the wet conditions. Something to do with getting cold and temperature regulation. IS this true?

I have a narrow window to do a little rabbit hunting and thought I would try with my "house" beagle to see if we could bag a mess or two.

Rabbits don't move that much during the day anyway. You and/or your dogs "jump" the rabbits, and the dogs run them. There are days where it seems like they will go to hole worse than others. I actually prefer some moisture over a low humidity day.
