The doe my daughter shot this morning had quadruplets in her. I've gutted many late season does, and the most I've seen is twins. I know that she more than likely would have aborted one or two, but it's good to know that our does are nice and healthy.
I know many people have expressed concern over not seeing many deer, but we can't seem to kill enough does. Fawn recruitment has been phenomenal the last few years on our farm in Humphreys County. Our sightings while hunting have been down some also (too many acorns), but our cameras are showing a different story. So far this year, 32 does by 5 people (two of them are my 12 & 14 year old daughters). Hoping my girls kill another one or two this evening to wrap the season up.
