Quadruplet fawns

Just saw a doe with 4 fawns for the second time. The first time I assumed there was another doe close. This would be an extemely rare situation for sure because if im not mistaken only around 12-15% have triplets. Possibly she has adopted one or two, but either way it was very cool to see. They all are very very healthy and playful. I hope to have some pictures on one of my trail cameras.

Most likely she adopted another doe's twins. But seeing four fawns following one doe must be a hoot!

Often, does adopt the fawns of killed mothers. This time of year, I see a lot of does hit by cars and have twice that I could document, see their fawns adopted by another doe with fawns.
