Somehow, after I shot a doe at the end of muzzle loader season I put my gun in the cabinet with the intention of cleaning it in a couple of days. I forgot and let it sit until last weekend. Big mistake! Boy did I have to soak the barrel and breech plug....I won't let that happen again.

Thanks for the reminder. Think i will wait awhile longer.smokeless aint no rush lol

Joking right? I went a whole year without cleaning one time. Took a whole 15 min to get it shinny and put the new vent in. Only once in the 6 years of shooting smokeless did I ever have to work at getting the breech plug out. I love smokeless.

I've not cleaned mine in 4 years.

Mine is still loaded after three kills last year (coyote and two deer).

Still loaded and I'll kill next year with last years load.

My testing has almost ended after several years. I can provide zero, speed, and come-ups for a killer 2,950 f.p.s load if needed.

Once I figure sheit out, I go solve another problem.

HA-

You and I need to hunt. We've been chasing the same forums for 10 years. I like your posts.
