Public land woes haha

I had six does underneath me then all of the sudden they take off. The. I hear a kid yelling for his dog. Needless to say the does are gone except for a fawn. Still beats sitting at home though.

He was just yelling for his dog to come. It's actually what ran them off first. I've seen deer most hunts. I've seen bike riders out here too. Public is public though; I don't own it. Back home for private land next weekend though!

I know all to well the public land woes. As a matter of fact I'm dealing with them at this exact moment

Been dealing with these public land woes for years now--just wait until you get a percussion section of a marching band come thru or two guys beaching their boat and get out to play a little Pirates of the Caribbean with swords on the lakebed... LOL.

Haha! I definitely have nothing to compare to that! I have lucked out and only had 1 group of hunters show up at the piece I am focusing on this season.

So far I've had my little bit of public to myself. Haven't seen anyone in person or on cams. Though I do get a lot of boat traffic on weekends.
