Public land rabbits ?

Does anyone know of any decent public land to rabbit hunt in middle Tennessee ? I don't have any dogs so I will be just trying to kick them up.

I have considered trying Cheatham WMA. Lots of fields and food plots there and on site TWRA guy is great. I saw a few rabbits when leaving from deer hunting before season closed. I don't have a dog either.

Use TWRA's WMA maps and Google Earth to locate likely spots. Almost all the WMAs will have some areas suitable for rabbit hunting. Focus on spots that are not visible from the road.

Got a Boat ??A lot of good places to stomp around Old Hickory WMA. The majority of it is only accessible by boat.

Going to try a spot on priest this weekend. Maybe try cheatham next weekend have been wanting to check that place out for deer season.
