Presidents Island Enley Unit

I got drawn for the Presidents Island Ensley Unit for this weekend.Can anyone give me any any advice for the Ensley unit? Everyone i know that has been drawn in the past had the President Island main unit.

I got drawn about 9 yrs ago. Make sure you carry a thermacell. Mosquitoes were worse than I have ever experienced. Take hip boots and chest waders if you have them. Over half of the area was flooded when I went and I could get back in there good. The deeper in you go the more deer you will see. Afternoon hunts I saw more deer than mornings. Good luck! Also stay in downtown and dont leave any thing in your truck. They stole 2 4 wheelers when I went from guys who stayed in area closer to ensley.

Hopefully there is water that funnels them. When I was there in 2008 it was dry as a bone and made it tough. I did see a nice 8 in range and an absolute stud about 75 yards away. Good luck.
