Anyone out here this morning? I'm hunting a new spot that looked good on the Topo map. Walked in blind this morning and found an old logging road with a scrape line and rubs. Looks good. Hopefully a big boy comes around.

I'm at PC today also. Seen nothing but squirrels, heard one far off shot. Can turn on a dime, though, so maybe I'll get lucky.

I hunted of the side for about 2.5 hours before work. I bumped into or was bumped by 3 different hunters, no deer. Mountains of acorns, lots of tracks and shells, a number of rubs, and a truly shocking number of trucks along the road and hunters in the woods.

Well I saw a button buck and a six. Brother saw 5 does and a 3pt. I ended up shooting the 6. There was 10 bucks killed when I checked mine in including a big 11pt. Goodluck to the guys who will be back tomorrow.
