Poultry Palace almost done !

Have to finish the chicken wire but the nest boxes, coop frame and door are built.

What is a good low cost- low maintenance watering system for 12 or less hens? (probably wind up with 5-6) I would prefer something they cant kick litter into and poop in.

I have a 55 gallon plastic drum that I am going to hook up to a gutter catchment system to supply water via gravity to the watering device.

I use the hanging one from TSC. They haven't had any problems with it yet!

Crappie has been VERY helpful. Especially this quote

"Dude, they are a bunch of stupid chickens, its not like you have to read to them, tuck em in bed, and change their diapers. They are CHICKENS" !

I have 7...use the hanging feeder last a few days before it needs to be filled. Getting 7-8 eggs a day already this spring.
