Possible mount?

Shot a big black duck today . I was only one who shot so I thought about mounting. No holes in feet bill or head and wings are good . What yall think

That is a beautiful bird. I think we've got 5 so far this year here in east tn. Been seeing some about every trip. Are they kinda rare on the Mississippi flyway?

Yea. I've only seen 2 killed in my 15 years of hunting Arkansas.

We killed 2 of them yesterday morning at Camden Bottoms. Really is a pretty bird, but the wings and back on the one I took home were a bit messed up, so I breasted it out. Not a terrible day considering it was 12 degrees with a wind chill of 4. We managed 6 birds all together.

Yes, I would mount. We killed one today. One of my favorite birds because they are kinda rare here and they are beautiful Ducks imo.
