Poll: What caliber do you hunt with?

Heh. Bet I am the only one that uses a 303 British Enfield to hunt.

I've got one I've killed several with.

It sure is. I have had this gun for many years and just don't need/want to spend money on another high caliber rifle when this does the trick. I would like to scope it but can't find one that won't block the sites.

Most commonly, I use a 270 when hunting out of a stand and a 30-30 when still hunting. However, I have an extensive collection of classic deer rifles that I use regularly and have taken deer with the following calibers:

25-35 WCF
38-55 WCF
32 Win spl.
45-70 Govt.
30-40 Krag
32 Rem
45 Colt
44 Spl
44-40 WCF
405 WCF

I have yet to take a deer with the 401 Self-Loader, 300 Savage, 303 British, and 30 Rem, but aim to change this this season.
