pistol value ?

does anyone know a rough value on these i am thinking of selling them. the 1st one is a s&w model19-5 357. the second one is a ruger super blackhawk in 44mag, both in excellent shape?

Smith is prob $350-$400 and the SBH is prob around $400-$425

Ive sold two SBH's in the last year. Had a 7 1/2" version with some wear I sold for $350, and a NICE 10" barrelled one I got $375 out of. Had both piced in the low 400 range but took reasonablr offers. Actaully advertised both in the classifieds here also. Looks like a Nice gun so you could probaly hold out and get $400+. Good luck sellen 'em if you do decide to sell.

How do i check the blue book?

From the Blue Book: Super Blackhawk 100%=475.00 98%=350.00 95%=275.00 90%=220.00 Add 11.00 for 10.5" bull barrel.

Gives no more value for 4 5/8" barrel.

I do not have the original box & i do not know the age, but it does say (NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK) if that tells you anything.

The Smith is worth about $300-350. The other one is worth more but I'm not for sure how much more.

I don't know if you can find gun values on the web or not. I have a copy of The Blue Book of Gun Values. Just so You know the Smith books for exactly the same as the Ruger. Hope this helps and good luck with your sale.

Thanks for the pics. I have been mulling the thought of another Ruger pistol. I sold my SBH a few years ago and have recently been thinking about one such as yours. If I hadn't bought 3 new rifles in the last few months, I'd be on this. My man money is kinda low and the wife is on to how many toys I've purchased.
