Kind of been in that summer lull, so I thought Id get out a take a few picture of the place, the plots, and our ground that is leased out.
I think this is the norm for corn in our area, what is filled out is not much.

On a little better note, I went over to my smallest plot that I tried to plant Eagle Beans in again this year, and as usual, they got hammered to the dirt. But unlike last year, I just let it go and figured Id see what came up.
My daughter sowed Brown top millet and sunflowers for a 4H project 3 summers ago and look how this stuff has come back volunteer. Its so thick you can hardly walk through it!!
