Your way under spined if your shooting 315 considering your draw length is most likely between 27-29 and your bows a 70lb bow. You should be shooting 400 spine if not 340-350 spine if your draw length is 28-29.

BHC,
You are making this WAY too complicated by over simplifying things. First off if you are shooting a 70lb bow with the appropriately spined arrows then a 25 grains difference in the arrow weight is inconsequential. Yes on paper you may be able to "Calculate" a difference but in the field the difference will be if your arrow sticks 8 inches into the ground on the far side of the deer or 8 1/4 inches into the ground on the far side of the deer. Don't think about it any more decide on a broadhead for other reasons and pick which one you want to shoot. As long as your arrows are spined for the BH weight you choose, either one will work.

4 blade Muzzy. Its what I started with. I have tried grim reapers and rage (THE NEXT BIG THING). But always came back to Muzzys.
I won't get caught up in the next big thing anymore. Live and learn.

Same here. Why try to fix what's not broken. Haven't lost a deer in years until I tried rage and lot 2 in a season. Right back to 100 muzzles and happy. It's not about KE or fps. It's about sharp blades and placement.
