I found this one on my lunch break. I strategically stopped at a park next to a public place that was built on an old burial mound/camp, not because I thought I would hunt for points but because I had never really walked around and looked at how it was layed out. Luck was on my side though, I noticed that all the trees had been mowed around and the zero turn mowers sometimes churn the dirt up while making the circle around the tree and thats where this little thing was laying, never in a million years will I ever get so lucky but I will take it. The other piece in the photo is a beautiful piece of flint or Chancelody or however you spell it. The white part is almost crystal like with a very dark black upper section. Ive never seen anything so pretty here in Tn and yes it is worked on a little.

Thanks in the dog house! Come join me one day in the near future, with all these floods the river bars should be awesome this year!!! I usually start hitting them real heavy around the middle to the end of May once the water has gone down a bit and weeds aint completely took over.

Lucky dog!!!! I spend more time looking than I do fishing when I go "fishing". Super cool piece! I've never seen one like that before.

Great find geezer, congrats!
I always get a chill down my spine when I pick up somthing like that knowing i'm the first human to touch it after all those years.
