Just went throtht the vest. Got everything where it goes. Swapped out the lights out aluminum for the dawkins. Counted my nitros. Got a lot more than I thought. Put vest straps back on binos. All I lack is mouth calls and all equipment is a go.

I'm gonna swap out my Down and Dirty aluminum for the Dawkins. This thing is just phenomenal.

You should keep both calls in the vest! I have 6 pot calls I plan on using this year and will carry 4 on opening day.

I usually carry 3 pots but most of the time I use a mouth call. My vest will hold 4 pots.

i don't think i have even pulled my vest out of the closet yet lol. haven't got my calls out of the fridge yet either.....im excited but still seems like a long way off.

The most prep I will be doing here soon is cleaning out the truck, and changing the oil. Then I will need to spray permethrin on my clothes and let them get some air. Also need to camo up my camera tripod and shoot my gun one more time. And sharpen my knives. I will probably carry 3 calls - a wingbone, tube and mouth call. I got a new call from Gooserbat that I'd like to carry this year.
