well i finally got my shim kit in and was reading over the link making sure i did it right i bought what i thought was the cci magnum primers and i got the cci MZL inline primers..my question before i set this up will these primers ignite the bh209? and i can just use my factory breech plug correct?

Muzzleloader primers will not reliable ignite BH209. Mag primers are what you need. CCI magnum, Federal 209M, Remington STS.

The Remington is not designated mag, but many use them with BH209.

With the shim, you might get away using standard primers but not MZL primers.

MZL primer is a very cool temp primer, so no, its a no no primer for BH209.

You can use the factory plug but the BH209 plug is a lot better.

I no nothing about bh209 but i can tell you that federal 209a primers are as hot as you can get. ( thats a good thing with smokeless and bh209 )

well guys finally gotit together and i have good and bad news lol...i put the 0.20 shim and the 0.10 on together it looked perfect to feeler gauge but i couldnt get hammer to pull back so i went down to the 0.20 and 0.05 shim...wasnt able to pick up the actual magnum primers so i thiught what the heck i drilled by breech plug a little bigger...well gun shot just like it should didnt shoot paper just to back to back shots into bank to see if it was going to fire...like i said shot as it should but still getting blow back from my primer maybe just the kind of primer is nasty? its not as bad as before but still not what i expected any suggestions

Get the magnum primers and it may solve your issue. You shouldn't use those with BH anyways.

I ha a ton of blowback using the old 777 primers and when I used the CCIM primers it was as clean as a whistle and I didn't even adjust anything.

you may be able to get away with it HOWEVER a 100 pack is literally $5 so why not get the ones that are suggested to use?
