I got in my stand about 30 minutes before sunrise. only excitement going on that early was some crows chasing a redtail hawk. about 9:15 I notice this one feeding slowly in my direction. shot him less than 10 yards from the stand, ran about 100 yds total.
5 pt, dressed 80#. Perry Co.
first deer with trad equipment.
