Saw several does and a pair of spikes. The spikes were very interested in the does but they weren't.

Got shut out this morning ,only seen two tree rats. Windy.

In for the afternoon hunt. Got into the blind at 12:40 CST. So basically an hour lunch to break up an all day hunt.

Rut is still a couple weeks off I believe.

I've changed locations. I didn't see a thing, buddy is headed to house with 11pt Montgomery county. He Missed him at 6:50am, he came back by at 10:00 am bang flop.

Was he hunting woods or fields?

Big woods turns into thicket in a bottom bordering cow pasture. Early came from thicket into big woods. At 10 he came along the edge of the woods through the pasture going back to thicket
