Shot this one this morning at 6:45. Goes to show you can kill deer anywhere. All i have is 6 acres to hunt in tn. It consist of about 5.5 of woods and a half acre of an overgrown field thats full of scrap metal and old cars.
This guy came cruising through this morning and the Horton did its job. Hit him kind of farther back. Mid ways of his body but it exited about 4 inches behind the shoulder and got lungs. Never seen a deer run so fast when he got hit. He was full speed ahead as soon as the crossbow went off. My first crossbow buck ever and my biggest Tn buck ever. Just rough scored him at 131 1/4. Talked to a farmer who owns property beside it last night and he said hes seen 4 big bucks back in there. 1 down 2 to go!
