Not my intended target, but man what a big snapper, 330 had it by the neck. Anyone else ever have them get in their beaver sets. Caught a much smaller one before by the shell and it was alive. That was a real pita to get out of the trap.

You think a little one is a pita, try taking a 30 lber out of a trap when you don't have tongs for the springs.

Normally get 4 or 5 a year , when it's starts warming up I normally pull all the conibears and go to foot holds.

I eliminated 11 from a private pond recently. Most of them were larger, but I caught 3 or 4 smaller ones.

They seem to take over- idk if they have any predators after they reach a certain size.
