If ya can't see the beauty in that then you're not American

Gonna try to use them AND a 165 TGK with the same charge of powder on deer this weekend. Wish me luck in the coldness

Looks like the same recipe I use for my 308 but I use Speer PSP in 165.

I've got a short barrel 308 for suppressed hunting. It gave me a fit finding a load for it. About the time I made up my mind to make a tomato stake out of it, I said "Let's see if it likes it hot". I fired 3 rounds I have loaded for my 308 bench gun and it shot a 1/4" group. 46gr Varget and a Berger 168 Classic Hunter.

Ah yes, 308 rounds. Ours are 44.5 gr of Varget hiding behind 150 Accubonds launched from a T/C Venture bolt gun in a Boyds AT-One stock and Vortex glass, sub one inch all day. 2.820 is COAL we like. And of course Mr. Federal's 210M primers

Item of Note: Same round in a SCAR knocked one down 250+ yards few days back, Leupold glass. Son aimed for neck kill, wanting to kill or miss clean.

You will enjoy the day afield.
