Ok....from mini 14 to an AR

A lot of you suggested that an AR would be a better buy, due to accuracy, price, and accessorizing.....etc

After looking at the local shops......it appears that everyone makes AR's, so what brand do you recommend for a good AR that's cheaper then I can buy the mini 14 w/ATI stock? I can get the mini for 700.00 plus tax and check.

S&W M&P15 can be had for under $600. most all AR's are made to mil specs and are quality weapons.

I got my S&W M&P15OR for $730 out the door and it has been a great rifle. S&W,DPMS,Armalite,Stag,Bushmaster,LM&T,LWRC,YHM,Ruger,Doublestar,Sabre....They are all pretty much equal, Mil-Spec guns.
