As a kid I lived for this weekend! Hope all of us make it special for our kids the same as it was for us.

Lord willing, I'll be out with my 13 yr old daughter in a buddy stand. The rain looks like it might hamper a morning hunt for us, but the eve is looking really good.

Taking a juvenile for the first time. Any tips?

Take plenty of snacks. Smart phone for entertainment to keep them occupied if they start to get bored if not seeing deer. Leave when they decide they've had enough.

Snacks, smart phone and TP. So pretty much the same gear as when I'm going alone lol. I'm excited to be taking the little man. He's my hunting buddies son and he's out of town so I'm pinch hitting for the day. Good luck to everyone tomorrow

I'll be in Montgomery county with my 10 & 12 year old boys. My dad is 78 and he is going to sit with my 10 yrs old. Hopefully one of the boys can put the smack down on a nice buck. Rain should be gone by daybreak. They are both excited. Both have killed bucks, but my 10 yr old killed a big one last year. 12 year old is kinda jealous and ready to kill a bigger one.

Still raining here . My dad took my younger daughter to the shooting house and had a buck cross the power line in front of them. She was asleep.
