Number of hunters in the State of Tennessee

Is there a way to obtain the number of hunters in the State? I would assume someone keeps a tab of the number of Landowners who actually file kill tags, along with hunting license sold?

Any idea how to find that number?

I made request to the proper authority for answer to the questions on Jan 25, to date I have received the number for Landowner harvest numbers, but have not received the number of license sold in 2014.

I am sure that there has been an over-site in response, i will resend my request on Monday morning.
