I tried to eat one... once. Me and my brother in law had been watching too much Meateater.
I initially misunderstood Easy45's post, thinking he wanted a doe to eat, but settled on a coyote 😄

Last year, I trapped several beavers, and finally decided to try eating a young female one.
It was actually delicious, much like prime rib.
No, I'm not kidding.

My wife's brother has slight aspergers I'm convinced. Goofy but loveable.

Few Thanksgivings ago wife killed a beaver, and I smoked it and took it to family function.

He tried it and posted on FB "Just ate my sister's beaver, it was delicious!".

We had to explain to him... lol

I heard beaver can taste fishy if not cleaned properly.
