No shipping to Tennessee?????

I've been looking to add another muzzleloader to the family, and places like Bud's and sportman's guide have a warning that they cannot ship a black powder firearm to Tennessee? What's up with this, is it something new?

I bought a Knight LRH from Bud's last year with no problems with shipping, but Sportsman's Guide wouldn't ship to TN.

Must be new. I bought an CVA from Buds year before last and they shipped it to my door!

Buddy of mine tried to buy a MZ last year from Sportsman Guide and they would not ship it. He used to buy quite a bit from them. Pissed him of and he said he has never ordered from them since

HMMMM, I just ordered an encore frame from Buds last week and they hold your check for 5 days before shipping. It's supposed to ship to my FFL dealer today. If the muzzleloader doesn't have interchangeable barrels it can go straight to your house. I assume you're talking about www.budsgunshop.com?

I'm pretty sure they quit shipping here when they started opening stores up in Tn.

But is it against Tennessee law, or what reasoning is behind it?

I've seen at least 3 sites that won't ship here.

Not sure what you're looking for but definitely check out Buds. I searched a lot of gun sellers around Nashville and even paying shipping and a FFL dealer to handle it I came out $50 cheaper.

The cities that have the higher crime rates, make it more difficult for the good guys to buy guns.
I never understood that.

they also won't ship heavy items to tn but my uncle lives in florida ordered a shooting house from sportsmans guide an they had no problem sending it to tn go figure an yes the house had the lil emblem beside it
