I have been wanting one of these for years. They don't make them anymore, so I figured it was about time. I found one and I don't have to look anymore.
It is a Cabela's .50cal. sporterized Carbine. 21" octagon barrel. Factory adjustable fiber-optic rifle sights. Double set triggers, rubber recoil pad.
Made in Italy by Investarms.
This is mostly to mess around with. I hunt with a smokeless 700.

When I was a teen my neighbors, 2 brothers, bought 2 of these. They killed a lot of deer with them. I think they shot a lot with round balls but, used Great Plains bullets too.

IIRC the carbine models in 50 and 54cal are 1-24 twist. They made a 45cal also but i dont think Cabelas had that one. Not sure about its twist either. The 50 and 54 should real thumpers with lead conicals.
