New Tent Rain and test period

I bought a Kodiak 10x10 canvas tent. I have had it set up in the backyard for the last 2.5wks. We have had lots of rain
wind varying temps. Report - no water in the tent or bugs. Tent stayed strong in all conditions. Initial setup took about 30mins. Longest part was staking it out. All quality materials steel poles YKK zippers, no seeum mesh on windows and doors. Heavy tent floor, also came with a tarp footprint with stake outs. Stakes are good but I am going to buy replacements from MONK metal works in Greenville. Tent is tall I am over 6ft and can stand up pretty much wall to wall. Tent was not cheap but after this long period and all the rain I think it will get the job done in my camping conditions this summer and fall. Be nice being dry and in a strong shelter.

Let it dry out good today(finally sunny) and will take it down -- got a trout fishing coming up in a couple of weeks will report back after.

Very cool! A canvas tent is in my near future. I was looking at Montana Canvas but will check into this one.

Those Kodiak's are great tents. I've had one for about 6-7 years and never had any issue with them.

I bought the same tent used it last fall from Sept-Jan with the same results.
