2 SUPER giants. The Fentress co buck will likely lose this battle as he will suffer deductions from the extra points.
As for the age Wes, what 'evidence' do you have from a picture of a huge racked dead buck that would make you think he's not fully mature?
As for Milos buck the debate has raged for years on his age, with some that aged him still suggestig he was 4 1/2???

full story about this buck over on teamrealtree.com - was left overnight found after lengthy tracking job next morning

can get real sense of the size in the second pic on teamrealtree

The spread and the mass, man that is one heck of a buck! What ever age he is, he is a TN hoss!
Exactly right and ANYBODY that says they would pass him due to his age (regardless of what it was) is full of Shiznit!

Or they have discipline beyond measure. I am not one of those people. :) This buck is so big that he looks artifical.

Fantastic Deer and Congrats to the hunter. I just don't See the Score it received in this deer.I just don't believe it has the tine length to score that much. Just truly believe the B&C scoring system is flawed and does not truly give a deer the score it deserves.

My Buck
Gross 186 7/8
Net 167

Congrats on your deer, but you have to know that there is A LOT more to B&C NET score than tine length, right? There's mass and more importantly symmetry, which I am not a big fan of. So let's do it the way I prefer and along the lines you mentioned, giving the deer the score it deserves, let's go with GROSS score. The new state record would still outperform by a total of 6", 192" to 186". Remember, pictures can be, and are many times deceiving and do not reflect the same impression one would get if seen in person. Both of you should be elated to have killed such a rare and awesome animal.

Well I agree pic's at different angles makes animals look bigger or smaller, I learned a lot about taking pic's from a guide years ago out west. Neither of these deer are in the best setting to really show out the GREAT racks they have, I have below 2 pic's of the FT C buck showing that.

But it looks like to me the FT C buck has 11 points, and the #2 buck has 16 points that will score?

I wish I had killed the #2 buck, but I guess you can't make everyone happy.....

Well that being said about symmetry I see where mine loses score with all the extra junk and extra points but where does a gross of 192 come with the first deer ? It only net 173 that's a lot of deduction for a deer that symmetrical I don't see it and my buck also carried 5 and 4.5 " of mass throughout the main beams

Not upset I was just stating my opinion of the scoring system how effects a bigger deer scoring less than others

Your not the only one that's been there. I killed a 153" bow buck a few years back. After deduction 139". And I'm sure there's plenty of more out there

Deductions can destroy a net score. If you actually care about those things. I killed a 160" while hunting with Roost1 a few years ago and have never had the net score calculated. Why? I just don't give a flip. It's a deer that I killed and I'm very happy with him. Be proud of what the Creator sent your way.

Those two deer in this thread are freaking AWESOME! I would be more than happy with either one.

Yes deductions are BS.... unless you really care about symmetry that much

I did not kill this, but picked it up several weeks ago.

Gross scores in the 150s

Net scores in the 120s

No way it is a 120 class buck. 150s easy.
