Not only "look", I'd send that one's teeth off to a lab for analysis, then off to a different lab to double-check! :D

Imagine if this buck turned out to be only 4 1/2 years old, which would mean he had great potential to become significantly more massive and higher-scoring at 5 1/2.

My gut feeling is this buck is at least 4 1/2, but would be nice to know his true age. IMO, MOST bucks in TN approaching the potential of this one are actually killed when they're 2 1/2, scoring in the 110 to 130 range, and we never see anything close to their true potential should they live to 4 1/2 or older and become something like this magnificent Ft. Campbell buck. Similar was said about the Milo Hansen buck which was found to be only 3 1/2 yrs old.
 
awesome buck! I remember seeing pics of it around Jackson county and people were saying it came from smith county just up from the Granville area. found out different in a few weeks.
