Breaking in my saddle. Now I need to find a couple wild edge steps for a platform.

No way I could feel comfortable in that. I would always be wondering if it was gonna break. Haha

You can't fall out. I'm always connected to the tree and use 2 tethers for redundancy.
I'd wager good money saddles are more safe than any tree stand made.

What is it Chuck? I'm having a hard time making it out? Trophyline?
You will enjoy a saddle. Imho.
The are much safer than a tree stand because you are all ways attached to the tree under tension. It's hard to fall when you under tension.

I designed it and had it sewn up. It's my version of a Guido's Web. Just much more simple.

What is your favorite platform? I'm looking for some WE steps to try.

Cool I would love to see some better pictures

I use ameristeps. I have a platform I haven't used yet also

most saddles are stronger than a lot of treestands. You won't fall out either

Thanks. I got some 1/4 and some 3/8 to mess around with.

Hope the other lease holders approve of your saddle and way of hunting [emoji23]

hopefully they don't copy him and hunt his trees. Because a whole new world just opened up for him if he's willing to climb those trees in the spots no one will carry a climber

Heck yeah man that's what made me want to saddle hunt. I'm not sure anyone hunts with a climber . They just hunt prepared stands and blinds. I was using a climber but was so limited I had to try a saddle. Now I'm rurnt thanks to you guys on here talking about saddles. Y'all opened up a rabbit hole I'm not sure I want to climb out of. :D
