Grew up in Shelby and Tipton Counties, college in Cookeville. After 21 yrs in Texas, I am back in West Tn. Small game, Dove, and Deer. hoping to get back to Turkey Hunting as well. Living in Jackson currently, but definitely open to all that west tennessee has to offer.

If you're in Jackson, I'd pay attention to waterfowl opportunities within reasonable distance. Don't know how much duck habitat will overlap with public land you chase the species you mentioned. But in my experience one does not preclude the other, if there's water.
