Howdy Tndeer's,
Long time lurker, but decided to take the plunge to contribute to this community.
Have gone out west for Elk Deer (was successful), but spend my time now running my "bird dog" on everything from fur to feather.
I'm a long shooter and used to be a huge whitetail nut, but the amount of effort and competitiveness I had with myself ruined that. Killed a few deer, and had my fun, but there is something about the art of working with a dog through the year that really lights the fire for me. Like whitetail hunting used to do.
