New fishfinder in route

I have always liked Garmin's stuff and I ran up on a pretty good deal on a Echo 500c. Seems to get rave reviews everywhere I look. I think it will do everything I need to do. I would love to have $$$$ units with down and side imaging and tv screens for displays but can't justify the cost. Can't wait to try it!

I've never had a color unit before. I hope I like it as much as I think I'm going to. If I do I'm ordering another for the console.

I think my success would increase exponentially if I could figure out how to read the one I got or a newer model. I'm sonar dumb.
