New barrel on the Ruger Precision

Last week I ordered a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel for my 308 rifle. It's a 26" Criterion. Got it installed today. Can't wait to shoot it. I plan to work up a load with RL16 and 147 Hornady ELD match bullets.

RL16 is Very temp stable. Good choice

I hear great things about the criterion barrels. My son has a 30" barrel on his savage ba stealth .308 and it shoots 1/2 MOA with factory ammo. Keep us posted on your results. Good luck!
